Mr. Manoj Barve, the Chairman and CEO of Dansden is a widely experienced business leader. As the Chairman of BVMW Representative Office India, he represents the interests of “The German Mittelstand” and several European Associations in India. Previously Mr. Barve has served as Director Finance and Member of the Board of Directors of Alfa Laval India. His prior assignments in similar positions have been with ThyssenKrupp India, Hydro Aluminium Deutschland in Malaysia, Eaton CEAG Sicherheitstechnik, ITT Richter Chemie-Technik and PwC in Germany, and J McDermott Inc. in Dubai. Mr. Barve is closely associated with Germany and is an expert in German values, Business Culture, Language and the Mittelstand – German Small & Medium-Sized Enterprises.
Mr. Barve is a Chartered Accountant, and Cost & Management Accountant by profession. He holds all-India ranks in both the exams. Apart from this he qualified as a US Certified Public Accountant from the State of California. With a strong financial background, Mr. Barve has worked in leadership and strategic management roles throughout his professional life. He has handled Turnaround Situations, Mergers & Acquisition projects, Post-merger integration, Business Process Optimization, Finance Transformation projects, Restructuring, Setting up of Corporate Policies, and Risk Management infrastructure. He also has keen interest in Manufacturing, Internet of Things and Industry 4.0. He has written articles on various topics.
Mr. Barve is a Governing Board member of VIM (Vishwakarma Institute of Management) and is closely associated with MIT (Maharashtra Institute of Technology). He organizes various “Industry-Connect” events for the students of these colleges, as well as acts as guest lecturer.
